Our public art mural will be displayed at the GRAND STAND of the Jazz Festival for two weekends: April 29th – May 1st and May 6th – 8th, 2011.
The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will take place at the New Orleans Faire Grounds 1751 Gentilly Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70119.
Aye-Ti Moun Yo translates to “Yes to the people and children of Haiti.” This art therapy project provides healing through the arts for the children of Haiti who suffered traumatic experiences as a result of the January 12, 2010 earthquake that devastated the country.
We’re coaching and provide training to Haitian local artists to transform their artistic knowledge and experience of art practice into art teaching methods that serve the mental health recovery of children of the Haitian community.
We are working with artists and institutions of Haiti and Nations friends of Haiti that support and contribute to the Haitian community development through art-in-education.
We will be honored by your presence at our artist reception on Saturday May 7th, 2011.
