ARTS PRESENTATION
Through Arts Presentation, Cultural Engagement, and Artist Development programs, HCX has presented 450 artists and cultural figures to approximately 5,000 on-site audience members each year over the past decade.
Since its founding, HCX has presented Haitian art and artists to both Haitian Diaspora and broader audiences through exhibitions, film screenings, musical performances, multidisciplinary festivals, artists talks and educational programs.
Diaspora NOW is a platform for emerging literary and performing artists of Haitian descent to premiere works in New York City.
Haiti Film Fest is the only New York City film festival devoted to Haiti-focused cinema and Haitian filmmakers.
The Mizik Ayiti! Summer Concert Series is an ongoing effort to bring emerging musicians of Haitian descent to the forefront of the New York City performing arts scene.
Selebrasyon! is New York City’s only festival dedicated to the promotion of the highest caliber film, dance, music, literature, and visual art of Haiti and its Diaspora.
