This is an opportunity to bring a greater, in-person presence of art and culture of the Haitian diaspora through music. In addition to live performances by musical ensemble Fanmi Asòtò and jazz legend Buyu Ambroise, GARNER’s current exhibition, “Jonathan Demme: Collecting with Abandon,” featuring over 100 works of Haitian, Island and outsider art from the filmmaker’s extraordinary collection, will be on view!

Second Sunday, happening on November 14th, is a much-loved, signature event series from Pioneer Works. We’re excited to treat guests to live music by Paul Beaubrun & Zing Experience, Haitian drumming & dance workshop by Imamou Lele, and SHOP HAITI Holiday Bazaar featuring a number of food, clothing, and craft vendors.
