June 8: Multicultural Music Encounters X: A Multicultural Music and Arts Series presented by The Mul

Come out for an intriguing conversation about the Parsley Massacre of 1937 that took place in the Dominican Republic against Haitians living on borderlands between the two nations. This panel discussion and orchestral performance is a multidisciplinary dialogue around Haitian-Dominican relations and cultural reaction.

Panelists include Dr. Carolle Charles, Dr. Edward Paulino, and author Michele Wucker being moderated by Dr. Luis Mojica. The orchestral performance of Juan Colon’s “Dominican Republic 1937” will be conducted by Luis Columna.
