Farmers Market – Produce Grown in East Flatbush

Fresh Flatbush produce! How exciting is that?! Come visit a unique farmers market that features produce grown right in Brooklyn, and focuses on growing food for the Caribbean community.

The Youth Farm Farmer’s Market is located at 600 Kingston Avenue (between Rutland & Winthrop) and is open every Wednesday from 2:30 to 6:30 until the end of October.

The majority of the produce sold at the market is grown right on site at the High School for Public Service Youth Farm. The Youth Farm is a collaboration between the school and Green Guerrillas, a local nonprofit. In addition to providing fresh food for the community, the farm provides educational and employment opportunities for youth and adults.

Stop by during the market to visit the farm, meet the farmers, and pick up the freshest callaloo in the city. We gladly accept EBT, WIC & Senior Checks, and we participate in the Health Bucks program – spend $5 with EBT and receive $2 back in Health Bucks that can be spent at many farmers markets.
